Karl's and mine host family lived in the area of Berlin called Marienfelde. After getting off the train you had to walk about 15-20 minutes to get to their house. Their house was absolutely beautiful. It was a four story house and each story was beautiful. Marienfelde's best feature is that it is on the outskirts of Berlin and has a bunch of little but beautiful houses. You won't find anything but amazing houses over there along with super nice people that love their pets.
